
Caller ID for Fios TV
To view details of your outgoing, incoming, and missed phone calls, your Fios services and Set-top Box must meet the requirements for Caller ID.
The following requirements must be met, you must:
- subscribe to Fios Digital Voice, Fios TV, and Fios Internet, and Caller ID
- have a Fios TV compatible Set-top Box
Note:ÌýAll ºìÌÒÆåÅÆ-supplied routers and ONTs are compatible with Caller ID for Fios TV. Caller ID is not compatible with the Motorola 2500 STB or DCT 700 Digital Adapter. Sign intoÌýÌýto shop and upgrade your Set-top Box. Caller ID is also not compatible with the Fios TV+ device.

Set up caller ID
To set up Caller ID on your Fios TV, follow these basic steps using your Fios remote control, press:
- MenuÌý>ÌýSettingsÌý>ÌýNotificationsÌý>ÌýCaller IDÌý>ÌýCheck Availability,
- A message will display to indicate that Caller ID is either available or unavailable:
- If Caller ID isÌýAvailable, pressÌýOKÌýwhen prompted, selectÌýYesÌýto enable Caller ID, pressÌýOK
- If Caller ID isÌýUnavailable, you currently do not meet the equipment or service requirements, pressÌýOK
- A message will display to indicate that Caller ID is either available or unavailable:
Note:ÌýOnce Caller ID is activated, it may take 24–48 hours to see alerts. You must activate Caller ID on each Set-top Box where you want the service.
Select alert options
Select how your Caller ID Alert options display on your Fios TV. Using your Fios remote control press:
- MenuÌý>ÌýSettingsÌý>ÌýNotificationÌý>ÌýCaller ID,Ìýselect:
- Show Alerts,Ìýto turn alerts On or Off
- Alert Duration,Ìýto control the length of time the alert box is displayed
- Alert PositionÌýto control the position of the alert box on your TV screen
View call logs (Call Back/Block/Delete)
View your call logs using your Fios remote control press:
- MenuÌý>ÌýFios Digital VoiceÌý>ÌýCall Logs
- yourÌýCall HistoryÌýwill display the caller name, phone number, and the date/time of the call are shown for each as follows:
- OutgoingÌý- Green right arrow,
- IncomingÌý- Blue left arrow, and
- Missed callsÌý- Red X
- select a call and press theÌýOptionsÌýbutton on your remote to display Call Back, Block, and Delete options, select:
- Call Back,Ìýto ring your ºìÌÒÆåÅÆ home phone, when answered, the selected number will be dialed
- Block,Ìýadd the phone number to your Blocked Callers List
- Delete, remove the call from your Call History
- yourÌýCall HistoryÌýwill display the caller name, phone number, and the date/time of the call are shown for each as follows:
View voice mail (Play Messages/Call Back/Block/Delete)
View Voice Mail messages using your Fios remote control press:
- MenuÌý>ÌýFios Digital VoiceÌý>ÌýVoice Mail
- yourÌýVoice Mail Inbox, will display your voice mails including the caller name, phone number, and the date/time of the call
- select a call and press theÌýOptionsÌýbutton on your remote, to displayÌýPlay Messages,ÌýCall Back,ÌýBlock, andÌýDeleteÌýoptions, select:
- Play Messages*, listen to the voice mail messages (TV mutes during playback)
- Call Back, to ring your ºìÌÒÆåÅÆ home phone, when answered, the selected number will be dialed
- Block, to add the phone number to your Blocked Callers List
- DeleteÌýto remove the call from your Voicemail Inbox
*Voicemail playback is not available on the Motorola 2500 PC standard definition Set-top Box or DCT 700 Digital Adapters.
Manage calling features
Manage Calling Features using your Fios remote control, press:
- MenuÌý>ÌýFios Digital VoiceÌý>ÌýCalling Features, select:
- Simultaneous Ring, to designate up to three phone numbers that will simultaneously ring when a call comes in to your ºìÌÒÆåÅÆ home phone
- Call Forwarding, to forward your ºìÌÒÆåÅÆ home phone calls to another phone number
- Incoming Call Block, to block all Anonymous calls or manage your Blocked Callers List for calls to your ºìÌÒÆåÅÆ home phone
- Do Not Disturb, to automatically forward calls to voicemail or play the system greeting
